Jerguson® Introduces a New Bright Idea in Level Indication

Jerguson®, part of the Clark-Reliance® family of companies, introduces a breakthrough in level indication with its new Magnicator II® Bi-Color LED Indicators that utilize patent pending design and technology to deliver supreme visibility in both day and night conditions.

Magnicator II® Bi-Color LED Indicators are unequivocally the most advanced and reliable indicators on the market because they feature vivid, cutting-edge level lights that provide the longest field-of-view available and offer a life that exceeds 70,000 hours. Additional benefits of the Magnicator II® include the fact that they have no mechanical or moving parts and are field upgradeable.

To better meet specific plant requirements and preferences, customers can choose standard or customized color options, 120 VAC, 240 VAC, or 24 VDC source. Magnicator II® Bi-Color LED Indicators have an ambient temperature of 175 degrees Fahrenheit without a heat shield or 250 degrees Fahrenheit with a heat shield.

New Mini-Magnicator™ Is Specifically Designed for Low-Pressure, Light Duty Applications

Jerguson® Introduces the Mini-Magnicator™ Magnetic Level Gage that offers the same trusted performance and easy-to-read level indication as the Jerguson® Magnicator® in a smaller, more economical package.

Specifically designed for low-pressure, light duty application, the Jerguson® Mini-Magnicator™ is an ideal replacement for fragile tubular glass and features 316 stainless steel flags that each have a ceramic magnet to provide maximum reliability.

The Mini-Magnicator™ has electrical point level switches and is available in a variety of mounting styles. It allows clear visual indication from extended viewing distances and its design ensures that no glass comes in contact with process fluid.

The Mini-Magnicator™ has an operating pressure of 400 Psi maximum and an operating temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Gauge styles include side flanged, side threaded, side socket weld, end flanged, end/side flanged, end flanged/side threaded, and end flanged/ side socket weld and all materials of construction are 304/316 or 304/316 with carbon steel flanges.

LED Tank Light Shines

Jacoby-TarboxTM introduces the next-generation of Tank Illuminators. The Phaeton Series Tank Lights use the newest LED lighting technology to produce a bright, clean light for easy and safe viewing into any process vessel or storage tank. The Phaeton Series Lights require less than one amp of power consumption and are rated for over 11 years of continuous operation - which can be extended indefinitely with the timer.
The Phaeton's bright spots include the "view-thru" feature which eliminates the need for a second tank window, and the direct powered LED lights that remove the potential burning hazard to face and hands. However, it's the Phaeton's versatility that shines. Both the 4-inch and 6-inch tank light easily installs over virtually ANY existing tank window. No on-site modifications are needed and installation is easy - three brackets are slipped over the retaining flanged and are secured. This unique mounting also brings the Phaeton directly against the window greatly reducing the reflected light associated with traditional units.

Phaeton Tank Lights are maintenance free and can be removed for window cleaning without disconnecting plant power or de-pressurizing the vessel. The lights are available in 240VAC, 120VAC or 24V DC source, 6-inch or 4-inch light rings, and are FM Approved for hazardous environments.

EA-100 Levalarm Gets New Life

Clark-Reliance Corporation has enhanced the EA-100 Series Levalarm boiler "cut-out" device with a new upgrade kit. This advancement eliminates the original float mechanism and micro switch with a conductivity probe and detection relay. The result - NO moving parts.

Safety and reliability are significantly increased with conductivity technology verses mechanical float devices which are subject to fatigue. The upgrade kit takes just minutes to install - no welding, no re-work of piping and no need for adjustment. Service life is greatly extended as the probe requires no maintenance.

The relay provides two independent dry (non-powered) "Form C" switch contacts - doubling your switching options! Two models are readily available to service any application. The upgrade kit will fit any EA-100 Series Levalarm in service since 1960. All EA-100 Levalarms are Factory Mutual and CSA Approved.

Boiler Level Indicator Extends Reach

Clark-Reliance Corporation has enhanced the Electro Eye-Hye® 2000 remote boiler drum level indication system to allow for longer distances between the remote indicator and the drum.

Architectural and Engineering firms now have greater flexibility in boiler systems layout and design to optimize component locations. Significant cost-savings are realized from reduced installation time and equipment through the use of a "four wire" field indicator circuit.

Additional benefits include dual power source capability without concern for possible phase-shift between the power sources, and more field-programmable features.

Electro Eye-Hye® Systems continue to lead the boiler industry since its introduction in 1959, with over 7,500 units worldwide. All Electro Eye-Hye® Systems are Factory Mutual Approved, and are accepted as the industry standard by numerous international agencies.

First All-Environment Level Indicator Now Available

Specifically designed for the offshore industry, JERGUSON® is pleased to announce the addition of the Hermetically-Sealed Flag Indicator to the world's largest selection of level indication and control products. The Hermetically-Sealed Flag Indicator is constructed of borosilicate rectangular tubing and features 100% fused glass ends. JERGUSON's Hermetically Sealed Flag Indicators are the only indicators utilizing glass sealed ends - a true hermetic seal.

The Jerguson Magnicator II® can be configured with a Hermetically- Sealed Flag Indicator and all 316 Stainless Steel components, constructing the ideal gage for your offshore or harsh environmental requirements. Wash-down friendly, the hermetic seal eliminates the fogging and clouding associated with gasket-type sealed indicators.
